Atikokan Bass Classic

This two-day annual event is the highlight of most spectators and participates summer! The event is kicked off with a week of celebrations leading up the the Atikokan Bass Classic (ABC). The main event is two full afternoons that consist of weigh-ins under the big ABC party tent where the fisherman/women drive their truck, which is towing their boat, through the tent where they display their daily catch. Their fish get weigh-in and the crowd goes wild when the big bass are hauled out of the boat! The spectators have access to food vendors and the beer gardens while waiting to see who has the best weight! After the final weigh-in, the party has just begun. Saturday night there is a dance under the big tent, where you can dance the night away to live music, surrounded by friends and family! This is Atikokan’s largest event and trust us, you don’t want to miss it!
