Black Bear population in Northern Ontario’s Superior Country is plentiful, making this one of the best areas for Black Bear hunting in North America. We have 2 active bear hunting seasons: in fall and the newly reinstated spring hunt. During the Spring Bear Hunt, the bears have just woken up from hibernation and are out looking for food. The low levels of vegetation make spotting these great beasts easier. During the fall hunt, bears are often looking for a quick snack to help fatten them up for the winter. They usually head for the bait to achieve this goal. Our outfitters can help you make a perfect score while out hunting for black bears this upcoming season.
