About Pelletier's Gas Bar & Native Art Gallery

Bundigen (Welcome) to Pelletier’s Gas Bar & Native Art Gallery located on the Lake Helen Reserve, just east of the Nipigon River Bridge, near the Township of Nipigon. The gas station offers both full and self-service pumps, with gasoline and diesel available. For those traveling with an RV in tow, they also provide propane exchange service.

The convenience store is fully stocked with a wide selection of cold drinks, snacks, local fresh baked goods, ice, and more. The store also carries seasonal produce during the summer months. Juicy strawberries are sourced from local farms and delicous wild blueberries are harvested from the area’s boreal forest. Baskets of berries sell out quickly, and are available only while supplies last.

Their colourful, vibrant art gallery is displayed throughout the store. Beautiful, handmade items are featured, such as moccasins and mittens crafted from leather and fur. The gallery also carries traditional regalia including ribbon shirts and skirts. Indigenous hanging wall art and unique pottery products are also showcased. The staff are often asked about the artists featured in the gallery. Guests can find more information about the artists on the the website. Additionallly, shoppers can select from unique souvenirs and numerous gifts for every occasion such as children’s books, clothing, candles, and mugs.
