Grab a delicious picnic lunch of your choice. Station Four on the North Shore offers options that are perfect to accompany you on your Marathon Picnic Adventure.
Off of Highway 17, follow the signs to turn into Marathon. Follow Peninsula Rd through town. Turn right on Howe St. Follow to Pebble Beach.
Stay and explore this incredible beach that stretches almost 2 km. Pounding waves and shifting ice polish the colourful rocks along the shore. Each spring the lake modifies the display by pushing the rocks up into terraces or spreading them in an even layer, before rearranging the driftwood seating. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes as walking on the cobbles is difficult. As enticing as they may be, please leave the rocks here for others to enjoy.
