The Nakina Bass Derby is a fishing derby that takes place on the August Long Weekend on Cordingley Lake. Fish with a partner for the biggest Walleye in the Lake and win big prizes! The Nakina Bass Derby is one of Nakina’s largest fishing competitions and is an anticipated favourite of locals and fishers.Catch the biggest smallmouth bass you can and win big prizes! Throughout the event there will be food and a beer garden for the fishers that participate in the Bass Derby. If you have interest in catching big bass and have interest in winning big prizes, grab your partner, pack your bait, rods, and boat, then make your way down to Nakina this August for the Nakina Bass Derby!
