Smallmouth Bass

Smallmouth Bass are a warm-water fish native to Ontario and introduced into areas of Northwestern Ontario. Commonly found in: clear, rocky lakes and rivers, offshore shoals, deep water, and shorelines that are rocky and have points. Smallmouth Bass are medium sized with thick bodies. They are green with olive backs and sides and have yellow to white belly. Superior Country offers annual bass tournaments throughout the region.
