Rossport Fishtales: A Sea Kayak Safari

Join Parks Canada and Superior Outfitters as we explore the unforgettable Rossport Islands on a half day Lake Superior sea kayak adventure. Paddle from Superior Outfitters, located in beautiful Rossport Harbour, to Healy Island, in the heart of Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area where further stories await. Learn about the natural and cultural history of the Rossport Islands, including the story of the Gunilda, a vessel described by Jacques Cousteau as, “the best-preserved, most prestigious shipwreck in the world”. Superior Outfitters will provide kayaks, safety equipment and lunch. Participants should bring snacks and plenty of warm clothing.
