Nagamisis Provincial Park is an Anglers dream. North of Hornepayne, Ontario; Nagamisis Provincial Park is an enchanting park on a Nagamisis Lake. The name comes from Cree, meaning “lake with fine, sandy shores”. This provincial park has great hiking trails, gorgeous campgrounds, and excellent views of wildlife, and bird watching. Nagamisis is a delightful launch point for boating and canoeing trips.

Nagamisis Provincial Park is a hub for outdoor activities. There is always something to do. Take a bike ride on one of the mountain biking locations outside the park. Canoeists will find a dream area to go backcountry canoeing on the Nagamisis and Shekak Rivers. Fishermen will catch magnificent Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Whitefish, and Yellow Perch. Hiking trails are available within the vast beauty of the Boreal Forest. Here you’ll also see many birds and wildlife. The park has a sandy beach for days spent by the lake. Nagamisis has something for everyone to enjoy.
