We soar atop mountains with birds as free as the wind. We trail our animals through vast wilderness, sheltered by the canopies, and embraced by the snow. We have the cold northern air in our bones, and the sweet golden sun in our spirits. We jump into the arms of water fed from Spring, we swim in the current that flows to Gichi Gaming. We celebrate the Anishinaabeg of this land, we watch as each step connects them to their ancestors.
