Dorion Library

Services provided by the library include:

  • Library book loans

Of course we have books! Ask our friendly staff to suggested something you might like (like Siri, but a real live person!).

  • Interlibrary loan

If you cannot find what you need in the Library, we can borrow it for you from other lending institutions in Canada.

  • Computer & Internet access (CAP site)

The library’s computers and internet access are free for the public to use and are funded by the Government of Canada via the Community Access Program. We have many computer programs available for use including Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel and Power Point.

Want to check your email or Facebook while your home computer’s in the shop? Log in at the library! All our computers are secured with Deep Freeze.

We provide both black & white and colour printing for a small fee.

Need to digitize something, we have a scanner too!

If you have a mobile device you can even access the library’s WiFi from the parking lot. Even if the library isn’t open! Just ask us how.

We can also provide computer training upon request.
