With abundant Walleye, Northern, Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Kashabowie River Resort is truly a fishing Paradise.

After an exciting day on the water or a fun-filled day at the beach, sit back and relax in one of our clean, comfortable cabins.  Most cabins overlook the river or lake and can accommodate from 1 to 12 guests.  All cabins have their own decks and there are private or shared firepits available.

For The Fisherman

Fanstastic smallmouth, walleye and northern fishing plus the opportunity to portage for trophy lake trout, northern and speckled trout. We have a fish cleaning house, docking with power, boat and motor rentals, bait, gas and guiding services.

For The Family

Take a dip and delight in our beautiful swimming areas.  The falls of the Kashabowie River – always flowing and very clean or our newly expanded beachsand waterfront area – including a 6 person sauna. Drive or boat to one of the serene beaches nearby.  Take a boat ride, canoe or kayak and picnic on an island! Enjoy board games and puzzles as well as outside activities like horseshoes, bocce ball, and badminton. Relax and reflect on your day while enjoying the warm glow of a campfire – perfect for s’mores and ghost stories.

For The Adventurer

Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee while you paddle the quiet shoreline. Help yourself to a canoe, kayak, or tube available for guest use. There is almost 7 miles of virtually untouched pristine water and shoreline from the resort to the end of the lake – perfect for nature and wildlife photography. Walk through massive pine trees (250 – 300 yrs old) at Greenwood Conservation Area, hike the ever popular trails at Quetico Provincial Park or walk the boardwalk at Kakabeka Falls.

We are just over an hour drive from Thunder Bay to the east and Atikokan to the west, both of which are full service communities. There are many tourist attractions including shopping, golfing, site seeing, gambling, fantastic food and special events.
