This pretty town is home of the World Record Brook Trout, caught in July of 1915. After your picnic, take a short hike along the Nipigon River Recreation Trail to the Causeway Lookout. Check out the Paddle to the Sea Park and Splash Pad, visit the Nipigon Historical Museum, or climb the 40-foot tower at the Bridgeview Lookout.
The Nipigon Superior Picnic table is located at the marina alongside the majestic Nipigon River, with a view of the Nipigon River Bridge. Directions: Once at the marina, go straight following the signs to the picnic area. The table is at the far end of the marina, near the accessible paddle docks.
