Located on one of the region’s most beloved lake systems, the resort provides easy drive-in access on paved roads from Vermilion Bay and serves as a home base for exploring interconnected waterways and natural surroundings. The Indian Lake Chain spans around ten lakes that are connected by channels and offers a variety of terrain and fishing opportunities for visitors to explore.

Fishing is a core attraction at Sunset Country Adventures. Anglers can pursue a range of species, including walleye, muskellunge (muskie), northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout, perch, and whitefish across the Indian Lake Chain. The waters are well known for quality smallmouth and walleye fishing, while lake trout and muskie provide additional excitement for anglers seeking trophy catches. Splake, rainbow trout, and brook trout are available on nearby day-trip lakes.

Accommodations feature nine fully equipped cabins, each with lake views, full kitchens, and spacious decks with gas grills and seating. The cabins are clean and comfortable and range in size to suit groups from small families to larger parties, making them a great option for both fishing trips and family vacations. Guests are asked to bring their own bath towels, life jackets, and drinking water.

Beyond fishing and cabins, Sunset Country Adventures offers plenty of activities for guests to enjoy. The resort has a beautiful sandy beach with water toys, kayaks and paddle boats, and a playground and trampoline for children. A community fire pit provides a place for evening gatherings. Two public boat launches and complimentary docking are available for those who bring their own boats, and on-site gas, bait and ice make it easy to get on the water.

Hunting opportunities are also part of the outdoor experience. Small game and grouse hunting are available with trails leaving directly from camp, and guests can bring hunting dogs or use ATVs to explore local forested areas in season.
