Northern Trails Ski Club in Manitouwadge, Ontario, is home to two different trail systems. The Clubhouse Trails are the first. Located in the middle of Manitouwadge these trails total 5km/3.1mi that explore the township. The terrain varies across skill levels from beginner to expert difficulty. Though this system is in the town’s centre, you are still surrounded by Northern Ontario’s natural beauty. The second system is the Kiwissa Ski Trails which are located at the Kiwissa Ski Hill. Though the number of paths are smaller than its counterpart, there’s over 7km/4.3mi of the most scenic Manitouwadge cross-country ski trails. Made for the classic ski technique, this trek through the northern pines, covered in sparkling snow from the mountain’s peak, makes an unforgettable adventure. After you’ve finished either trail, go to the Manitouwadge Clubhouse and warm up with a cozy fireplace and hot beverage.
