About Riverview Trail

The Riverview Trail is a 2 kilometer (1.2 mile) loop trail located at the northeast end of Riverview Campground in Longlac, Ontario. This moderate trail features elevated boardwalks that allow hikers to traverse the wet forest without disturbing the unique ecosystem. Along the way, interpretive signs detail the unique plant and wildlife species present. A two-tiered viewing platform provides a place to sit and rest while looking out over the Kenogami River. In the distance, you can see an old church on the shores of Long Lake. The trailhead is located at the end of Riverview Street. In Longlac, turn north onto Forestry Road, then left onto Riverview Street, and proceed to the end of the street.

Riverview Campground offers 14 sites, half of which have full hookups and half have electrical only. Amenities include 30 amp service, restrooms, showers, a boat launch, kayak dock, playground, and a pump-out station. The campground operates from the May long weekend to the September long weekend.
