Explore the Kwewiskaning Coastal Trail. Inspired the renowned artwork of the Group of Seven, this rugged trail winds along Lake Superior’s coastline from the mouth of the Pic River to Heron Bay. Covering approximately 10 km (6 mi), it offers breathtaking views of the lake’s wild beauty. Recently re-cut and marked, the trail continues an additional 10 kms (6.4 mi) through to Marathon. Originally part of the Voyageur Trail Association network, this segment contributes to the vision of an 1,100 km (683.5 mi) wilderness-style trail connecting Sudbury to Thunder Bay via Sault Ste.
