Voyaguer Trail
North Section

The Voyageur Trail North Section near Marathon offers a delightful outdoor experience. Starting at the Boat Launch, this trail hugs the Lake Superior coast, providing stunning vistas of the surrounding harbor front and area. Much of the walk takes place on expansive coastal rock, adding a rugged charm to the journey. The trail leads to Carden Cove, where you can enjoy the sandy beach and the tranquil waters. At the end of Carden Cove Beach, two trails diverge. The first trail veers right, passing an access point to the east end of Beatty Cove, eventually reaching the mouth of Angler Creek and Sturdee Cove. This trail is accessible both from the boat launch and by vehicle on Carden Cove Road.
