The Baldspot

Ascend to the top of this trail where you are greeted with an unobstructed view on a spot bare of trees. From from this ridge-top lookout, you can admire views of the Township of Nipigon and the famous Nipigon River. Glacial erratics dot the landscape, adding to its allure. The trail is accessible year-round and provides a short, family-friendly hike with minimal incline. Dogs are welcome. Conveniently located near Harkness Street, it’s a great spot for a leisurely outing.
