About Pigeon River Boardwalk Trail

The boardwalk trail is a scenic and accessible 0.7 km (0.4 mi) walk that leads to the shore of Lake Superior. The trail starts at the Ontario Travel Centre and follows a wooden boardwalk through the forest. Along the way, you can learn about the history and ecology of the area from the interpretive signs.

The trail ends at a viewing platform that overlooks the lake and the beach. You can also explore the beach, which is covered with driftwood and wood chips from the logging era. The boardwalk trail is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of Pigeon River Provincial Park.
