About Rainbow Falls Trail

The Rainbow Falls Trail within Rainbow Falls Provincial Park offers a delightful outdoor experience. This 2.2 km (1.4 mi) trail is part of the 53 km (33 mi) Casque Isles Trail section of the Voyageur Trail. The trail leads to the stunning Rainbow Falls, where you can witness the cascading water in all its glory.

It includes a series of boardwalks, stairs, and well-maintained pathways that guide visitors through varying terrain. The route features a moderate difficulty level, accommodating hikers with basic to intermediate experience. Along the way, interpretive signage highlights the area’s geology, plant life, and history, adding an educational component to the experience.

Rainbow Falls, the trail’s namesake, is a central feature of the hike. Visitors can observe the falls from multiple vantage points, including viewing platforms and bridges that cross the river. The sound of rushing water and the sight of the falls provide a memorable focal point for the journey.
