The Nipigon Marina Campground, located along the shores of Lake Superior in Nipigon, Ontario, offers a scenic and tranquil retreat. It is situated near the Nipigon River, Lake Superior, and surrounding mountains, providing a serene atmosphere for visitors. The well-maintained campground features designated sites for tents and RVs, each equipped with fire pits and picnic tables.
The campground is a starting point for the iconic 10 km (6.2 mi) Nipigon River Recreational Trail, which leads along the river to Red Rock. It is also a launching point to the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area, at the most northern freshwater port in North America, via boat launch or EZ paddle launch to explore the water. The area is ideal for fishing, boating, and hiking, allowing guests to fully engage with the landscape and experience the Natural Edge that Nipigon has to offer.
