About Camp Quetico

Located on the shores of Eva Lake near Atikokan, Camp Quetico is a classic Northwestern Ontario wilderness lodge offering exceptional fishing and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. This drive in fishing camp has been family operated for generations and provides an authentic Northern Ontario experience surrounded by clear lakes, boreal forest, and quiet wilderness.

Fishing is the heart of Camp Quetico, with access to more than 40 surrounding lakes known for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and lake trout. Guests can choose from American Plan fishing packages that include accommodations, meals, and guided fishing, or opt for housekeeping stays that allow for a more independent experience. Boats, motors, bait, and fuel are available, making it easy to spend full days exploring nearby waters.

Accommodations include comfortable lodge rooms and waterfront cabins, many with full kitchens and scenic lake views. Camp Quetico also offers canoeing opportunities and outfitting support for those looking to explore the nearby waterways, including access to Quetico Provincial Park. Airport transfers from Thunder Bay and International Falls are available, helping make travel to this remote setting more convenient.

Camp Quetico also offers black bear hunting experiences for guests interested in big game alongside their fishing and canoeing adventures. All black bear hunts are conducted over baited stands within a five to thirty‑minute drive of the lodge on lands bordering Quetico Provincial Park, an area with extensive un‑hunted bear habitat that contributes to high success rates. Hunters are supported with active bait sites, and both rifle and bow hunting options are encouraged, with stands and bait supplied by the camp. Several tailored plans are available, ranging from packages that include American Plan meals, cabin accommodations, boats, motors, and gas to fully guided hunts that add guide support and transportation to and from bait sites. Camp Quetico also provides services such as freezer space for hides and meat, tracking and skinning support, and assistance with export permits for guests travelling back to the United States.
