Rossport Campground

Rainbow Falls Provincial Park has two campgrounds, and the one closer to Rossport, Ontario, is the Rossport Campground, located along the northern shore of Lake Superior. This campground provides easy access to the scenic views and outdoor activities associated with the lake.

The Rossport Campground offers 36 campsites, with some featuring electrical hookups. Campsites are designed to accommodate both tents and RVs, providing flexibility for different camping preferences. Drinking water and flush toilets are available, ensuring basic amenities for visitors. Shower facilities and a sanitary dump station are also on-site. This campground includes direct access to Lake Superior, with opportunities for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. A small beach is available for those wishing to relax by the water. A boat launch is nearby for those bringing watercraft. The park features several hiking trails, including segments of the Casque Isles Trail, which runs through the area. These trails offer varying levels of difficulty and showcase the rugged terrain, forested areas, and views of Lake Superior.

For campers, firewood and ice are available for purchase within the park. Several picnic areas are provided for day use, with tables and shelters. The park staff also organize seasonal interpretive programs, providing information about the local environment, wildlife, and history. Rossport Campground is within a short drive of the nearby town of Rossport, where additional supplies and services can be accessed. Its location makes it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding Lake Superior coastline and nearby attractions.
