Lion's Beach

Lion’s Beach, located on the shore of Manitouwadge Lake, is a beautiful sandy beach perfect for swimming and to spend a sunny summer’s day. The sand area is just the right size to lay out a blanket, relax in the sun, build sandcastles, and covered picnic tables, amazing for setting up for lunch. The shore of Lion’s Beach is relatively shallow, which is great for little ones to splash and play in Manitouwadge Lake without worry!

This beach is not only great for swimming because it also has an incredible playground with swings, slides and clean bathrooms. Though in the middle of town, is very private as it is surrounded by the luscious, tall northern forest that makes the entire area feel remote, even though everything you could need from town is a short drive away!
