Schreiber Beach, a hidden gem of Northern Ontario’s Superior Country, is a peaceful oasis on Lake Superior. Its shore is one to be marvelled at, as it’s fully coloured in pebbles that get brighter with every wave that curls overtop of them. It’s surrounded by the unique rock formations of the Lake Superior shoreline. At Schreiber Beach, you can even venture through the woods on a short hike called The Red Chair Trail, where, at the end, you can relax on the beautiful rocks and take in the view of Lake Superior as you rest in the sunlight.

If you’re travelling with kids, not only is this beach fun to explore and stretch their legs, but Schreiber Beach is also equipped with a beautiful playground. Shaded by trees and close enough to the lake to hear the relaxing sounds of the waves, it’s the perfect place to have a family picnic and breathe in the fresh Northern Ontario’s Superior Country breeze.
