Whitesand Beach

Inside the Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, Whitesand Beach is a beautiful and secluded place to swim on a hot day. It’s equipped with an incredible sandy shore waiting for sandcastles to be built, fun to be had, and a beach volleyball court for anyone who wants to play. Here, you can relax in the sun and listen to birds chirping and the rushing waters of Rainbow Falls in the distance while the outside world melts away.

Since this beach is inside a provincial park, there are clean and spacious bathrooms, convenient for those bringing families with small kids. There are also paddleboard, kayak, and paddle boats you can rent on your way in to further explore the incredible nature surrounding the area. If you want a break from the beach and a closer look at the Falls, there is a walking trail made of wooden stairs that takes you down alongside the waterfall and gives you a fantastic view at the end. Or, there is always the option of doing the walk first and then running into the refreshing water of Whitesand Lake to cool you down!
