Lloyd’s Lookout is a scenic spot on the Nipigon River Recreation Trail, a 10.1 km hiking trail that connects the towns of Nipigon and Red Rock. The lookout is a short 1.3 km hike from the Red Rock trailhead and features a wooden platform that overlooks the Nipigon River and Nipigon Bay. From the lookout, you can see the stunning view of the river, the bay, and the Lake Superior shoreline. You can also spot wildlife such as white pelicans, bald eagles, and otters. A few minutes past the lookout, you can relax in the Parks Canada red chairs and enjoy the scenery. Lloyd’s Lookout is a great place to experience the natural beauty of the region.
