Silver Falls

West of Michipicoten River Village, the Magpie River’s journey culminates with three stunning waterfalls before merging with the Michipicoten River. A convenient trail, just 100 meters long, leads to the precipice of the falls, offering visitors a front-row seat to nature’s grandeur. The Middle Silver Falls are best viewed by following the marked trail that skirts a tranquil “lake” before ascending into the gorge for an up-close experience. Further downstream, the Lower Falls beckon. Cross the bridge and follow the trail as it meanders down to Wawa Creek falls, where you can enjoy a dual view of both cascades. This area serves as an ideal spot for soaking in the sights and sounds of these natural wonders.
