Buck’s Marina is a privately-owned, full service facility located off the Trans Canada Highway, approximately 6 km (4 miles) from Wawa proper. Among its many features are a double-wide boat launch, a boat lift and even a playground! Although there is no public transportation in Wawa, a taxi can be hired to bring boaters from the marina into town. Wawa has a restaurants, shops, a bank, a credit union, and a car rental service. A 15 minute walking path from the marina leads to Anderson Lake, a small inland lake.
